Everything below is in the current installers for Windows, macOS and Linux.
Calibration Loader
•Linux support. For the first time, Perfect Soup runs on Linux.
•GPU processing engine. Process the audio on your GPU or iGPU!
•Snapshots. Save up to 16 setups of calibration, EQ and level, recall them in one click. Automate them from your DAW, and export or import them.
•CLAP and LV2 on Windows and Mac.
•Sync all Calibration Loader instances. One switch links every loader on the computer, even across different DAWs, so calibration, volume, dim, mute, bypass, EQ, gain limit and the active snapshot match everywhere. Hosts that sandbox plugins may not be able to join.
•Fixed IO versions. Umami Calibration Loader 16x16, 32x32 and 64x64 have a fixed set of 8, 16 or 32 stereo inputs and outputs.
•Lighter projects that keep their calibration. A project now saves a reference to its calibration instead of a full copy.
•Live spectrum analyzer. A per-channel spectrum display sits behind the EQ graph, switchable between input and output.
•Three license modes. USB dongle (full offline), Standard and Tethered. Standard keeps working offline for up to 7 days with a limited number of "instant recoveries." Tethered allows unlimited swapping between computers, but every computer must stay online.
•Generic headphone profiles.
Calibration Wizard
•Smarter multi-take measurement. Bad takes are automatically detected and retaken.
•Guided mic placement. A map shows where to put the microphone next: the center seat, then the edges of the seating area, then filling the gaps. A readout shows how many positions your seating area needs and how many you have measured.
•Separate input and output interfaces, and USB microphones are now supported.
•Measurements are not lost if the wizard closes. If the wizard closes before a measurement is saved, it offers to finish uploading and saving it the next time it starts. Measurement details also save to your account as you go.
•Live mic locate. Once a listening position has been measured, locating the microphone sets each main speaker's locate level automatically.
•Support for offline measurements. Measure on one computer then upload it on another.
